Example 2 (St James Church)













Description
The St James Church is an old two storey building. It was built with clay bricks by the convicts during the early 1800’s. Then several refurbishment and new works were under taken. Therefore most of the mortar went off and were coated with new layers of white materials.

Properly weather joints (but it is hard to consider as most of the mortar went off and were coated with new layers of white materials)

Example 1 (St James Road Court)










Description
The St James Road Court is a two storey building made with dark colour bricks. The wall was built with stretcher bond with light grey colour mortar.
